台中市大雅警分局員警，擴大追查詐欺案潛在被害人，發現1名42歲謝姓男子可能被詐騙。大雅警分局表示，員警聯繫謝男發現，他在臉書廣告瀏覽到股票當沖投資的訊息，在對方誘騙下已前後陸續面交、匯款了將近新台幣50萬元。員警解說後謝男也配合警方，循線逮獲了陳姓女面交車手。清查身分竟發現，設籍台南市北區的70歲陳姓婦人，原要應徵公司「外務員」，卻被派往台中收取詐騙贓款，成了高齡面交詐欺車手。
警方表示，專案小組溯源偵查後，由謝男配合假意準備再次面交投資款，員警也提前於台中市北區一處大樓裡埋伏守候，成功逮獲前來面交新台幣34萬元投資款，而且高齡70歲的陳姓女車手。陳嫌被逮後，還多次提及自己膝蓋不好，而且不良於行。但她卻還能從台南千里迢迢來到台中犯案，也令現場員警不禁莞爾。
警方調查，陳姓婦人在臉書上應徵投資公司外務員工作，向投資人收款後，會再依公司指示，把現金放在1處停車場內的汽車輪框旁。但就算如此詭異的交易交款方式，婦人仍辯稱不知被詐騙集團利用而成為車手。台中地方檢察署檢察官，複訊後仍以組織、詐欺、偽造文書、洗錢等罪嫌起訴。
大雅警分局表示，青少年涉世未深，高齡者智慮未周，網路求職時易遭詐騙集團利用，而淪為取款車手。呼籲家人平時應當多加關懷，協助辨明這些假徵才陷阱，才能避免家中老少落入牢獄之災。同時提醒民眾，如對網路徵才訊息有疑問，可先撥打165或110專線諮詢，多一分查證，就少一分危險。
