高雄市新興警分局前金分駐所員警，日前下午4時許巡邏時，經過高雄市前金區六合二路一帶，發現1輛自小客車，涉嫌逆向行駛。新興警分局表示，員警上前攔停，發現38歲楊姓駕駛，竟是高雄地檢署所發布的強盜通緝，隨即告知相關權利後逮人。
警方調查，楊姓男子當天才剛被高雄地檢署發布通緝，因不熟路況不慎違規遭到警方盤查。他還試圖以哥哥的駕照，希望矇混過關，後續又謊報朋友的身分證號，而引起員警懷疑。直到他拿出錢包內的證件，才讓通緝身分曝光，全案依法移送歸案。
新興警分局呼籲，如因案需要到庭或執行應準時前往，期間如住居所改變，應主動向管轄地檢署或法院告知，避免落得通緝身份得不償失。
